Shaanxi Taporel Electrical Insulation Technology Co., Ltd specializes in the research and development, manufacturing and sales of electrical insulation materials（FRP）, special functional composite materials, high polymer materials and so on as a high-tech enterprise since its founding in 1995. Located in Jinghe Industrial Zone of Xi’an City, Taporel has built a garden-style factory covering an area of 53332m2 for Phase I and 73332m2 for Phase II.
Main products: Insulator rods,rods for surge arresters,epoxy fiberglass winding tubes, epoxy cloth winding tubes, tubes with foam, composite bushing, insulation materials for transformers,etc. Products are widely used in electrical insulation equipment manufacturing, covering voltage 10-1000kV. Insulator rods have been exported to numerous overseas manufacturers all over the world since 2005.
With total staff 130, Taporel has 32 research and management personnels, owns 100 pultrusion lines for insulator rods, and 5 sets of winding equipment for epoxy tubes. Taporel has complete test facility, including 600kV,300kV and 200kV power frequency withstand voltage equipment, 900kV impulse withstand voltage equipment, partial discharge test equipment, 1000kN tensile strength test equipment, and equipments for physical and chemical tests, water diffusion test, stress corrosion test. Taporel is the largest manufacturer of insulators rods in China till now as well as one the largest manufacturers of fiberglass winding tubes and custom profile products.
Taporel Electrical strictly implements the standardized, normalized and scientific management mode. It has been certificated as a high-tech enterprise, awarded by the National Prize for Progress of Science and Technology and owns nearly 10 invention patents. It is the only one in Chinese pultrution core rod manufacturing industry which has passed the type test of KEMA in the Netherlands. The rods passed 5000-hour stress corrosion resistance test in Wuhan High Voltage Research Institute, 200,000 times vibration test and 100 hours boiling test (with housing) in the USA (ASTM).
It is certificated by ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System, GB/T28001/2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and GB/T24001-2004/ISO14001: 2004 Environment Management System.
