Resonia Limited Visits Taporel to Enhance Insulator Quality for EPC Projects
To further ensure the quality and reliability of insulator products used in EPC projects, Resonia Limited (formerly Sterlite Power) conducted a dedicated on-site visit to Taporel on January 15, 2026. The purpose of the visit was to review key manufacturing processes and the complete testing procedures for insulator core rods, aiming to strengthen the overall supply chain quality management system.

As a critical component in high-voltage transmission and distribution systems, insulator core rods are essential for mechanical strength, interface bonding, and long-term operational stability. During the visit, Resonia Limited’s project and quality teams focused on raw material selection, 3D braiding and filament winding pultrusion processes, quality control checkpoints, and full type and routine testing procedures.

Taporel introduced its end-to-end production and quality management processes, covering material inspection, process monitoring, and final performance verification. Mechanical, electrical, and environmental testing methods were discussed in detail. Both teams also exchanged insights on quality assurance measures, key technical indicators for EPC applications, and ongoing process improvements.

Resonia Limited stated that this visit not only enhanced confidence in the transparency and reliability of critical supply chain processes but also laid a solid foundation for continued collaboration on future EPC projects. Strengthening upstream quality oversight and process visibility will further improve the reliability of insulator products under demanding service conditions.

Looking ahead, Resonia Limited will continue to work closely with key suppliers, promoting technical collaboration and joint quality development to ensure the safe and stable operation of power infrastructure projects worldwide.
