1. Product Introduction

Epoxy Glass Cloth Wrapped Tube, also named epoxy fiberglass winding tube or EPGC laminated tube, is a high-strength electrical insulation composite pipe. It is produced by winding alkali-free E-grade glass cloth pre-impregnated with epoxy resin onto a mandrel, followed by staged temperature heating and full curing. It is the key insulating component widely used in high-voltage power equipment.

2. Production Process

  1. Base material: Silane-treated alkali-free glass fabric fully soaked with low-viscosity epoxy resin
  2. Winding: Multi-layer cross winding with adjustable winding angles (30°/45°/60°) under computer control
  3. Curing: Stepwise far-infrared heating and integrated thermal molding
  4. Finishing: Precision cutting, surface polishing and end sealing to guarantee air tightness and dimensional accuracy

Chemical & Weather Resistance

Resist dilute acid, alkali, organic solvents, SF6 arc decomposition gas and mineral transformer oil. Halogen-free and RoHS compliant, anti-aging for long-time outdoor exposure.

Customization & Machinability

Supports turning, milling, drilling and grooving. Customizable inner diameter φ5~1500mm, wall thickness 1~30mm, maximum length 2000mm. Available in yellow, green, black surface colors.
