1995 Weinan Fangzheng Electrical Insulation Material Factory (the predecessor of Taporel) was founded.
1998 Successful R&D of High-Temperature Resistant Core Rods.
2000 Taporel core rods passed the US ES-3096 standard. On June 25, our Ø38 acid-resistant composite insulator core rods successfully passed the 140,000-cycle vibration fatigue test.
2002 Shaanxi Taporel Electrical Insulation Technology Co., Ltd. was established in the Xi’an Economic and Technological Development Zone. The company obtained ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification.
2004 Successful development of the Vacuum Injection (VI) process for core rods.
2006 Launch of the 3rd Generation ECR (Acid-Resistant) core rods. Taporel officially entered the international market. The factory moved to Jinghe Industrial Park (80 acres), and production lines increased to 60.
2007 Taporel was officially recognized as a “National High-Tech Enterprise.”
2008 Production lines expanded to 80, making Taporel China’s largest manufacturer of composite insulator core rods.
2009 Successful development of the Vacuum Pressure Injection (VPI) process.
2010 Completion of Phase II in Jinghe Industrial Park, expanding the facility to a total of 110 acres.
2012 “Taporel” was awarded the title of “Famous Trademark” by the Xi’an Administration for Industry and Commerce.
2013 Significant breakthrough in the production of large-diameter core rods for Ultra-High Voltage (UHV) composite post insulators.
2014 Produced extra-large pultruded & wound core rods with a diameter of 285mm and a length of 4,500mm.
2015 Successful R&D and production of Ø220mm x 4500mm large-diameter core rods for UHV post insulators, celebrating the company’s 20th anniversary.
2016 Launch of the 4th Generation Core Rods. Small diameters (≤24mm) reached pultrusion speeds of 120-150cm/min. These products introduced “Zero-Dust” technology, enabling triple-interface bonding without surface grinding.
2017 Signed a strategic partnership for the Changji-Guquan ±1100kV UHVDC project, supplying core rods for composite insulators on the world’s highest voltage DC line.
2018 Awarded the National Invention Patent for “Large-tonnage Composite Insulator Manufacturing Equipment and Process” (Patent No. ZL201610185747.8).
2019 The “Taporel” international trademark was successfully approved and registered by the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office).
2020 Obtained the National Invention Patent: “A High-Voltage Rigid Shed Composite Insulating Cross-arm and its Preparation Method” (Patent No. ZL201610721661.2).
2021-Present Taporel core rods and arrester tubes are exported worldwide, gaining global recognition for superior quality and exceptional technical service.
