Product Introduction
The fiberglass reinforced channel steel is a continuous extrusion process-formed sectioned structural profile with uniform cross-section. It has many advantages, such as corrosion resistance, light weight and high strength, good dimensional stability, and also has insulation, non-conductive heat conduction, and aesthetic and easy-to-maintain properties. Compared with traditional materials like steel, aluminum, and wood, it has almost no maintenance costs.
Application Scope
It is often used in fields such as petrochemicals, maritime construction, food and beverage processing, paper industry, metallurgy, wastewater treatment, transportation, aerospace, and power. For example, in the construction industry, it is mainly used as wall reinforcement grids or building guardrails, roof supports; in the petrochemical industry, due to its excellent corrosion resistance, its practical application can be reflected in filter plate supports, oil well sucker rods, pneumatic line supports, stairs and handrails, drainage pipes and drainage systems, generator heat sinks, etc.; in power facilities, fiberglass reinforced channel steel is often used as insulation supporting components for high-voltage cable trays, antenna columns, high-voltage current operation rods, etc.
Product Features
(1) High strength: The tensile strength of the extruded profile is 150-300 MPa, and the bending strength reaches 200-300 MPa. After 1000 hours of artificial accelerated aging, the bending strength retention rate can reach 78%.
(2) Low deformation rate: After 1000 hours of artificial accelerated aging, the length change of the fiberglass reinforced extruded profile is +0.03%, and the width change rate is -0.07%. Therefore, the geometric shape and size of the products made with this extruded profile can maintain long-term stability.
(3) High heat deformation temperature: The heat deformation temperature of the extruded profile is 186℃. It does not soften at high temperatures and does not become brittle at -60℃, ensuring normal use in various environmental temperatures.
(4) Low water absorption rate: The water absorption rate of ordinary fiberglass products is less than 0.5%, while the water absorption rate of the extruded profile is only 0.257%. It is suitable for use in humid environments.
(5) Strong corrosion resistance: After being immersed in 3% HCl aqueous solution for 24 hours, the hardness retention rate of the extruded profile is 95%; after being immersed in 3% NaCl aqueous solution for 24 hours, the hardness retention rate is 89%. Therefore, the doors and windows made of fiberglass extruded profiles are not only suitable for ordinary residences, hotels, and restaurants, but also suitable for industrial plants in coastal areas and corrosive operation environments.
