Pultruded Epoxy Square Tube

Description

Product Introduction
The square tube is a structural profile with uniform cross-section that is formed by the continuous pultrusion process. It has many advantages, such as corrosion resistance, light weight and high strength, good dimensional stability, as well as insulation, non-conductivity, good appearance and easy maintenance. Compared with traditional materials like steel, aluminum and wood, it has almost no maintenance costs.
Application scope
It is often used in fields such as petrochemicals, maritime construction, food and beverage processing, paper industry, metallurgy, wastewater treatment, transportation, aerospace, and power generation.
For instance, in the construction industry, it is mainly used for reinforcing wall grids or as building railings and roof supports; in the petrochemical industry, due to its excellent corrosion resistance, its practical applications can be seen in filter plate supports, oil well pumping rods, pneumatic line supports, staircases and handrails, drainage pipes and drainage systems, generator coolers, etc.; in power facilities, fiberglass-reinforced steel angle bars are often used as insulation support components for high-voltage cable trays, antenna columns, high-voltage current operating rods, etc.
Specification dimensions
Our company currently offers specifications of 100*100*6, 140*140*10, and 70*80*5. We can also customize according to the requirements of customers.
New molds can also be produced based on the customer’s order quantity.
Product features
(1) High strength: The tensile strength of the extruded profiles ranges from 150 to 300 MPa, and the bending strength reaches 200 to 300 MPa. After 1000 hours of artificial accelerated aging, the retention rate of the bending strength can reach 78%.
(2) Low deformation rate: After 1000 hours of artificial accelerated aging, the length change of the FRP pultruded profiles was +0.03%, and the width change rate was -0.07%. Therefore, the geometric shape and dimensions of the products made from this pultruded profile can remain stable for a long time.
(3) High heat deformation temperature: The heat deformation temperature of the extruded profiles is 186℃. They do not soften at high temperatures and remain non-crystalline even at -60℃, ensuring their normal use in various environmental temperatures.
(4) Low water absorption rate: The water absorption rate of ordinary fiberglass reinforced plastic products is less than 0.5%, while that of pultruded profiles is only 0.257%, making them suitable for use in humid environments.
(5) Excellent corrosion resistance: When the pultruded profiles are immersed in 3% HCl aqueous solution for 24 hours, the hardness retention rate is 95%; when immersed in 3% NaCl aqueous solution for 24 hours, the hardness retention rate is 89%. Therefore, doors and windows made of fiberglass-reinforced pultruded profiles are not only suitable for ordinary residences, hotels, and restaurants, but also more suitable for industrial plants in coastal areas and corrosive working environments.
(6) Adaptation to environmental requirements The production process used for processing pultruded profiles features low noise, high efficiency, low power consumption, and minimal pollution, which complies with the relevant environmental requirements of the country.
