Pultruded Radome for Communication Antennas

Description

Product Introduction

The fiberglass reinforced plastic antenna cover is generally made of glass fiber yarn, glass fiber felt, epoxy resin or unsaturated resin as the main raw materials, and is produced by the pultrusion process or winding process as a composite material product. Such products have the advantages of good wave transmission performance, good weather resistance, insulation, light weight, high strength, stable size, and high production efficiency, and are currently widely used in multiple fields such as the protective shells of wireless mobile communication base station antennas.
Application

Communications, meteorology, aerospace and other industries
Features
1. The outer surface of the product is smooth and shiny, without bubbles or cracks; the inner wall is a fiberglass textured surface;
2. The cover body is made of high-strength epoxy/ethylene resin, and all the fiber materials are selected as non-alkali E glass fibers.
3. The product is lightweight, high-strength, corrosion-resistant, anti-aging, and has good weather resistance, with a long service life.
4. The finished product has good wave transmission performance, providing excellent protection for the antenna and enabling it to perform better.
5. The product is easy to install and is suitable for various complex environments.
Technical Specifications
1. Loss of RF (round trip) of the antenna cover: ≤ 0.5 dB;
2. The antenna cover is required to have a wave transmission rate of ≥ 98%;
3. It can operate normally at a wind speed of 45 m/s, and will not be damaged at 60 m/s;
4. The antenna cover can operate normally within the environmental temperature range of -40°C to +60°C, and will not be damaged when stored at an environmental temperature range of 60°C to +70°C.
5. After 10 cycles of humidity and heat tests, the surface of the antenna cover has no blistering or unevenness, and the paint film is in good condition.
6. After high and low temperature tests, there is no indentation on the surface of the antenna cover.
7. After undergoing a test with a rainfall intensity of 6 mm/min, wind speed of 18 m/s, and rain duration of 2 hours, there is no water seepage phenomenon.
8. It will not be damaged when the snow depth load is 100 cm.
